Stray Kids Announces Additional Regions for its Second World Tour

Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈) has announced additional venues for their second world tour.

JYP Entertainment unveiled a poster on Stray Kids’ official SNS channel on the afternoon of September 29th to announce the additional hosting of the second world tour ‘Stray Kids 2nd World Tour “MANIAC”‘.

According to this, Stray Kids will perform 11 times in seven cities across Southeast Asia, Australia, and the United States. It will start from Jakarta (Indonesia) from November 12 to 13, 2022, Bangkok (Thailand) from February 2 to 3, Singapore on February 5, Melbourne (Australia) on February 18, Sydney (Australia) on February 21, Atlanta (United States) from March 22 to 23, and Fort Worth (United States) from 26 to 27. In particular, two additional performances in Atlanta and Fort Worth, which were scheduled for July 3 and 6, will be held four times in total to soothe fans’ waiting and disappointment.

Earlier, Stray Kids held a spectacular prelude to the new world tour at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul for three days from April 29 to May 1.

It was the first face-to-face solo concert in about two years and five months since the first world tour Stray Kids World Tour District 9 : Unlock in 2019, and was more enthusiastic than ever in Newark, USA from June 28th to 29th, Chicago July 1, Los Angeles July 9-19, Oakland July 12, Seattle July 14-15, Anaheim July 19-20, Kobe (Japan) June 11-12, Tokyo (Japan) June 18-19 & July 26-27.

In response to such support, the Stray Kids 2nd World Tour “MANIAC” Seoul Special (UNVEIL 11) took place at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Seoul on September 17 and 18.

It was the first time releasing a mash-up video of meeting the new album “MAXIDENT”, which will be released on October 7, as well as a unit song performance of the new album.

Stray Kids will release its new mini album “MAXIDENT”, featuring the title track “CASE 143”, at 1 p.m. on the 7th of next month (0 p.m. Eastern Time), and it’s expected to garner a lot more global attention.

The album surpassed 2.24 million pre-orders as of the afternoon of the 28th, more than a week before its release, giving a green light to the box office early. Stray Kids, who won the title of “Two consecutive million-selling” with their second album “NOEASY” in August 2021 and their mini-album “ODDINARY” in March 2022, is expected to become the first “Double Million Seller”.
